ePinup – Terms & Conditions
ePinup is an online platform with the aim to create a sharing culture, to foster creativity and promote new ideas trends among students and the broader community. It is also hoped that these interactions will inspire students along their journey, assist with mentoring new students and overall allowing online students the opportunity to communicate and have a sense of belonging.
Dos & Don’ts
We trust that you will adhere to the terms and conditions in our simple guidelines below.
- Do protect your own personal privacy by not posting your personal contact details on the page.
- Do share topics, comments and information that might benefit members of our community. Participate constructively in the learning experience.
- Don’t harass or abuse other users. Behave in an appropriate manner within the learning environment, showing respect for both staff and fellow students at all times.
- Don’t post comments, images or links that could be considered prejudiced, offensive or otherwise inappropriate. This includes comments that may offend an individual’s race, gender, sexuality, disability, religion or political view.
- Don’t use offensive language or profanities.
- Don’t post comments or links that could be considered spam. We reserve the right to delete off-topic or abusive comments, and to ban users from posting to the page.
- Posted comments do not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of the university.
Responsibilities
Students also have responsibilities and are expected to:
- Inform themselves of the Curtin Student Code of Conduct, and comply with, all relevant laws, University Statutes, rules, by-laws, the University’s values and signature behaviours, policies and procedures relating to their rights as a student.
- Be aware of course and unit requirements and their individual academic progress.
- Use University facilities and services in an honest and responsible manner
- Recognise that cheating, plagiarism and fabrication or falsifications of data are not acceptable.
- Embrace and recognise diversity.
- Adhere to the proper use of copyright material.
